日本は場所（ばしょ）によって、道（みち）を歩（ある）く場所が違（ちが）う。これは、東京は昔（むかし）江戸（えど）とよばれ、たくさんの武士（ぶし・さむらい）がいた。侍は、刀（かたな）を２本持（も）っていて、それがぶつかると相手（あいて）を切（き）った。だからぶつからないように、左（ひだり）を歩くようになった。大阪（おおさか）は、昔（むかし）から商人（しょうにん）の街だったから、それは気にしなかったので、今でも右（みぎ）を歩く。東京を歩くときは、侍に気をつけて！
In Japan the way we walk is different in each region.
Tokyo was called Edo which many Samurai lived there. They had two Swords on his waist. For Samurai swords are so important. When they walked on the street and bumped into other swords, they started to fight. For preventing the fight, they walked on the left side on the street. And now we still walk on the left side of the street. Please be careful when you walk in Tokyo!!!
